The 90S most distinguishing and important feature---for many---has always been the unique paint fade and finish BMW was able to create for these models. Being able to replicate this correctly is a feat not many have been able to achieve. Should not be difficult to find OEM white face clock and VM for this. As some have pointed out, the paint scheme is good, but obviously not correct for the bike. Not many bike painters can duplicate the original. Also, in a modern repaint, pin striping is often done with tape rather than hand/brush. The original pin striping consists on the tank consists of striping of two different widths. A correct \r\npaint job for anR 90S bike would easily cost over $ 5,000. Paint alone is nearly $ 2,000. There are small issues- the clock and voltmeter placement is reversed,etc. But regardless of the incorrect paint, the bike appears to be in great shape. In the early 80s, I bought an R100/7 , added a BMW fairing and instruments, and presto I had an almost R90S. I shot it in metallic gray Imron. I didn't care about it being correct. But I wanted a bike that looked like the R90S. A few years ago I bought a 1978 R100S. It is a much better bike than the R90S but doesn't have the magic/mojo of the 90. If every classic has it's peak, how can you explain why Bonnevilles, Ducati Desmos, Enfields, Broughs, etc., command such high prices? If I had the money, if I could find a mint 90S I'd buy it. They are beautiful bikes.
