Very clean leather with no bolster wear I can see. These seats are ultra comfortable. The single stage paint on these cars is relatively easy to buff back to glory, and this one is already very nice compared to the faded pinkish ones typically seen in the wild. You can delete the headlight wipers with some trim pieces from a base model for a cleaner look, and you'll still have the dreamy heated seats (which are the other aspect of the climate package). A third-row seat is also an option for junkyard scavengers who want one. @OldCarFan are the retractable cupholders in the armrest still intact? This is such a clean car I wouldn't be surprised if at least one is still hanging in there. Pop a Quaife limited-slip differential in this car, give her some trick OEM parts from thewhiteblockcompany on Instagram, consult @JaredR and ScottishBrick on Swedespeed regarding any issues or dilemmas\u2014or just watch YouTube videos by @RobertDIY and figure things out on the fly\u2014and this could be a really really stupendous 850 estate that is 100% free of crummy aftermarket tuning and hot-air intake kits and all that nonsense. They don't call it the land of the rising sun for no reason. It's sunny. I have a Mini Cooper, R32 GTR, Alfa 155 and have had Land Rover 110 and RX7 from there as well. ALL have had low mileage (very low as compared with cars from Europe or the US) and all have had serious sun fading NOT related to miles. This looks like a good low mileage example. I will also add this and this is fwiw as a frequent seller of imported cars since 2000. I always tell everyone in the US to take mileage on imported cars with a grain of salt. While I assume this one to be low mileage clusters from this and MOST cars from this era frequently need repair or total replacement. While I believe that everyone makes their best effort to state real mileage there was no CARFAX on cars from the 80s or early 90s and even cars in the states, it's hard to track in that era. ALL THIS being said, in other countries what matters most is condition and maintenance. I regularly see cars like this in Europe with 300k miles and they are brilliant drives still. I say all this to say, as collectors of VICE era cars I think what we are all looking for is honesty, transparency and good presentation, ALL of which is apparent here. All documentation and condition is indicating low miles. My wife and I owned two of these bricks back when our kids were small and they were brilliant cars. I have been around Saab and Volvo for 20 years and this is the first time I have ever heard of harvesting mileage from the OBD port. If the seller provides that great, but honestly he has provided everything and more than what is typically provided on a car from Japan. If I was a betting man I would bet that the milage is accurate or really close to what is stated. On less expensive cars like this I frequently see consternation directed at sellers over little tid bits and oddities that only brand specific fans know. If you don't see what you want, don't bid. I think that makes great sense on cars in this price point and cars that are hundreds of thousands of dollars.
