These models were common for vacuum leaks in the servos in the dash resulting in loss of airflow from dash/floor vents when engine is under load (reverts to defrost). Ever noticed that when climbing a long hill, etc?\r\n\r\nThe listing notes replacement rear springs, which look like probably IPD items in the photos. I assume this means the car has had the Nivomat system removed and converted to standard non-leveling rear shocks/springs? Don't see any photo that shows the actual shocks themselves to determine this. The listing is vague about it -- we all know these cars originally came with Nivos from the factory, the question 36 years later is whether they are still there....\r\n\r\nAny issues with the power operated seats in terms of the function of the adjustments? It all changes from floor/defrost/vent as needed. With the ac being inop, I haven\u2019t really used any vent settings while driving as I only run it to town a few miles away and back. Correct the original rear shocks did nothing on this car so I replaced them with the \u201cstandard\u201d IPD kit which consisted of the blue rear springs and regular shocks. I just ran to storage to double check these things, all of the seat switches work but the recline switch seems to want to twist the seat backs. I\u2019m not sure if it\u2019s an issue or what exactly that is about. The factory radio works great including the power antenna. I tried all of the equalizer settings along with all of the buttons. Unfortunately I didn\u2019t have a cassette tape to throw In it to test that. Been a while since I\u2019ve seen one of those.
