In my part of country where the roads are thick with deer a flick of the wheel to avoid a strike seems to risk a barrel roll of the entire vehicle with this tippy center of gravity. Of course wider offset fat rubber to expand the footprint is a common approach but I'd prefer getting it back down. The selectrac no longer works, which is what seems to be confusing some. This does however still have 2WD and 4WD, you simply have to manually engage it with the transfer case lever next to the gear selector. The lift is quite mild on this, and handles well on the roads. Keep in mind though this wasn't meant to be a road racer, it is purpose built for offroading. I am unsure if we still have the original springs, and will try to find out. This has been a long project of ours and has been in storage since. There will be no fees associated with the registration lapse due to state laws.
