He was a a fellow who worked for the power company and who had worked a ton of overtime to save up for one of these. He had a boat, a camper and a slew of kids so it went to a good home. He kept it for about 15 years and had many great memories with the Suburbans. Alas Western Pennsylvania winters and all of the salt that we use on the roads had started to get the best of her. His kids were all in college or on there own. He traded it in on a new Tahoe around 2006. I was pretty much out of the new car business by then but he did go back to the worlds oldest Chevy dealer where I worked for 20+ years and bought it there. People throw around \u201cgrail car\u201d or \u201conce in a lifetime\u201d too often IMO...but with this \u201891, it really is (maybe not grail to non-Burban lovers), but definitely best example around for sure. \r\n\r\nIf TANDY wasn\u2019t sitting in my driveway I would have gone for this because I know how great these last of gen 7 Burban are. \r\n\r\nThe ONLY knock I can find is this is TOO NICE as I just couldn\u2019t bring my 4 little rugrats to beat on it.
