After hearing the \"restoration\" story of my 1963 +4 Drophead coupe (a 4-wheeler) that I rescued on its way to the junkyard for the insane amount (back then) of $900 - and rebuilt as my daily driver (I obviously didn't know what a \"Concours event\" was!). - Mr. Morgan promised to come and visit the car at the event the next day (which he did). \n\nThat morning, he arrived driving (or, more accurately, \"flying\") an early 3-Wheeler Mog with a PA State Trooper hot on his tail for \"excessive speeding\" on an Interstate (Peter was a Morgan race driver in his younger days) but the Trooper couldn't (or didn't want to) catch him on the higher speed road. The Trooper wanted to arrest him, but we all joined in to argue that Peter was \"just some crazy Brit\" who didn't understand U.S. rules and the Trooper eventually let him off. \n\nI still have Peter Morgan's autograph (\"With Kind Personal Regards, Peter H. Morgan\") on my Car Entry Form, framed with a photo of my car, on display in my office!\n\nEvery time I come across a 3-wheeler Mog, I am reminded of those days!
