I assume the only reason you can hear it is the housing is actually in the cab on these trucks and right next to the driver. It has made the noise since I purchased it and I have had it with a H1-certified tech in Denver with the instruction of \u201cmake everything run perfectly\u201d and he never mentioned it - so I am guessing it is nothing significant.
