Also, I decided to keep my 84 944 and (forgive me Porsche purists) perform a J32 swap. \r\n\r\nSo...\r\n\r\n1. I don't need this wagon and the Cayenne diesel \r\n2. It has no CEL's or funny smells or leaks. \r\n\r\nI had never owned one of these 3.0-liter supercharged V6's, so I called a Jaguar/Rover independent shop in Northern Virginia to ask if they were decent. The owner told me about a customer of his with 400k+ miles on his XF that he drives as an Uber and he testified that these motors are stout. I tend to believe the 250ish number given the sales # publicly available for 2018, and the lack of 2019 and 2020 models that appear for sale.
