If you are close enough to us, please give us a call and stop in to check out the car.\r\nWhen we did the Cold Start video it had been a freezing night, it was early in the morning, the showroom heat had been off, and the car had not been started in a while - not smart! You may have heard on the video, my colleague saying, that the car doesn't have a choke. Also, we didn't use any starting fluid spray - so it wasn't the easiest start, but once running and warmed up the car runs very well and is great to drive. The car presents extraordinarily well, for taking to a concours and has some unusual features which aficionados will appreciate. \r\nIn answer to questions:\r\n- Yes, the Pegasus decals are stick-on and could be easily removed.\r\n- The engine is a 1962 1600cc base engine, modified with a NPR 1720cc kit, Weber 40 IDF Carbs and Super Cam. I am attaching a picture of the Engine number.\r\n- @356mike very observant, it's the same engine. They have always had a priming pump to fill the carburetor's bowls which will always be dry after an extended period of non op. Once primed, no matter how cold, a few pumps of the gas pedal will get a start that runs smooth immediately with a smooth idle at about 300 rpm which will rise to 7-800 as it warms up. Think this car has tuning issues that need addressing. Would like to see a drive that shows the gauges in action, with a couple of stops to hear it at idle and takeoff and a couple of runs to redline. Attached is a picture of that Title from July 1999 showing the odometer reading at 67358. In September of 2021 Jeff started a new chapter in his life and we got the car to sell. Jeff had regularly maintained and serviced the car, \"his baby\", himself, so the only thing we did was have the Transaxle Serviced because he hadn't changed the gearbox oil in a few years - copy of invoice attached. In October of 2021 we sold the car to Ken, mileage 85338. Ken had TPC in Parsippany, NJ inspect the car for his purchase and naturally it was a clean bill-of-health. In January of 2023 TPC upgraded the car from 6 volts to 12 volts at a cost of just under $8000 (as previously mentioned). The reason Ken is selling the car is because he is getting an Emory 356 Outlaw. As you know, on Monday 12/2/24 we had an oil change and tune-up done by Ken (different Ken) of Rennsmith LLC (I don't have that invoice yet). All the car needs now is a new custodian. The odometer reading today in our showroom is 85885. So the car has only covered ~18500 sunny day miles since restoration. There are two rolls of the Burgandy interior fabric that will come with the car, in case in the future any repairs are required.
