The pinstripe is delaminating, which would need to be addressed. The detail shop noted \u201cremoved oxidation and staining in the paint\u201d. A $250 detail did not take care of that. Again, it all depends on the extent someone wants to go on a car, but one with such low mileage is something of a unicorn, so it should reflect that, to get you the highest number for the car. If it had 130K miles, no way \r\n\r\n I just spent $1700 to do a minor paint correction and ceramic on a 29K mile C240, because it was basically a new car, and I wanted to keep it looking that way. If I were to get it this car, that would be what I would expect to pay, plus some added work to deal with the pinstripe issue. Again, anal me\u2026but that color is so rare on that car it\u2019s crying out for care.\r\n\r\nOn the chassis, it was various photos from 195-207, where there was some surface rusting, and the scratched on the belly pan. Again it\u2019s a 30 year old car, so it looks very good considering, especially around the catalytic converter. \r\n\r\nRegarding the Delphi wiring harness work, I encourage folks to look at the old wiring harness as it was removed. It\u2019s the best photos I\u2019ve seen of the deterioration that occurs over time\u2026you can see the wire covering flaking off and the wires exposed.
