It did sit for 6 years before I purchased it, so I did replace all soft parts for my own mental health, but it has been a wonderful daily driver, even in rain and occasional snow. @sixtyvalve thanks for linking the straight pipe video! I miss the sound, but it was just too loud at 113db at idle at the bumper (!!!). These V12s put out a lot of pressure, and need some kind of attenuation to avoid hearing loss and irritating the neighbors, while retaining that signature V12 howl. Currently it has Fiammenghi headers, OEM center, and Tubi Competition mufflers (the loud straight-through ones), and it sounds great, but a bit too quiet for fun days, and too attenuated on the top end (7900rpm sounds like 5000rpm). My next plans are to use a Supersprint X-pipe and valved mufflers to see what that sounds like. Anyone on the fence about these cars should dive in. They're as easy to drive as a Camry, faster to 200mph than 99% of cars on the road, smoother and more controlled the faster they go, and they can fit a LOT of items from Costco thanks to the generous parcel shelf and trunk. And in my opinion, the most beautiful modern grand tourer ever made.
