I bought it from a dealership that got it as a trade in down in Miami, they did not have any information regarding the color change paint history or service history on the vehicle. \r\n\r\nI did pull the wheel well covers off to photograph all four corners still have the original structure and factory paint markers on the bolts, the bolt markers in combination with the front and rear clam showing red paint underneath leads me to believe the front and rear clams have only been repainted, not repaired or replaced. If a BaT member recognizes this car please feel free to chime in and illuminate the history on the vehicle. \r\n\r\nThe airbag light is odd, Gator was able to check both front airbag connectors and reset the light and it stayed off for a while. The battery went flat (I didn't have it on the trickle charger) and the airbag light came back. Lotus has a neat feature where you can pay to use their diagnostic software by the hour on a laptop, and so I plugged the vehicle in and it shows \"high resistance stage 1 and stage 2 LH airbag\", the code was active though which means clearing it will just result in it coming back immediately. I think further diagnostics with someone much more talented with a multimeter than I am would be helpful. \r\n\r\nI absolutely love the color of this car, with the exception of limited edition heritage models I don't believe the S1 evora was offered in green from the factory. \r\n\r\nI'll be uploading a walk around video and driving video this weekend. I have a scrap of leather over the side of the seat base and bolster to hopefully minimize wear there and it's easier to slide over than the alcantara mine has. I also keep an Evora registry for the US with over 1800 Evora currently in my records - this seat wear is not concerning, and not uncommon. People are treating this like it is a mass-produced Honda or Ford that is built with wear in mind; this is a hand built sports car with little to no regard for wear and tear. The leather is very thin, and extremely easy to scratch / gouge / wear away with even limited use. If you scrub the leather too vigorously to get off a coffee drip, you are going to see wear. \r\n\r\nKeep in mind also, every friend, family member and little kid that sees this vehicle wants to sit in the drivers seat, so it isn't uncommon to go for dinner or to a car show, and walk away with a dozen or more people getting in and out of the car with no experience how to properly lower themselves in or hoist themselves out. \r\n\r\nIf you are a serious bidder, do your research on the early S1 cars and compare the wear for yourself.
