The only thing I ever saw going wrong with these cars besides rare air ride stuff and typical A/C leaks was the back of the intake manifold leaking oil. simple enough fix even for an amateur. If it's been fixed before at a dealership, it'll never leak again. Well, in 1991,I found a used 1990, black with black leather and all the options, except the sunroof, that this one has. They are absolutely beautiful, a Mark Vll LSC, built on the same Fox Platform as the Thunderbird. But it was all Lincoln. The 5.0HP had headers, duel exhaust and it sounded great. For 7 years it was my daily driver, and put just under 200,000 miles on it, and other than meticulous maintenance, I only had to replace the alternator. In 1997 I bought a black Explorer with Eddie Bauer trim. It had the medium Prairie tan leather interior, the 15\" chrome factory wheels, with Michelin raised white letter tires. It was completely loaded with every available option, including ATC and a sunroof. I had all the gold trim painted black to match the rest of the body. People would stop me on the street to say it was the best-looking Explorer they had ever seen. After the Explorer arrived, I would split the time between it and the LSC. The Explorer was stolen from in front of our house and I never saw it again. I replaced it with a black 95 Town Car Signature Series, with sunroof. What a beautiful car! And between the LSC and the Town Car, I liked the Town Car the best. It also had rear auto leveling suspension, and in my opinion, I thought the Town Car had better handling. Those early to mid-90s Town Cars were absolutely gorgeous and they had features and comfort that they never get enough credit for. In any event, who ever bought this LSC will thoroughly enjoy it.
