Welcome to my NO RESERVE auction for this really cool Taurus wagon. Now, this is not a 'ten point' show-winning example, it has a few dings as I have depicted in the gallery, the wheels show some aging and prior to detailing the underside, there was some corrosion which I have neutralized with a thorough undercoating. When I acquired the car, the rear bumper cover had a fairly sizeable scrape on the left side of it so I had it refinished. On the upside, it's a one-owner, non-smoker's wagon with just 40k original miles and it is complete with all keys, remotes, books, and floor mats. The 3rd-row seat appears to have never been sat in as there are still cardboard sleeves over the seat belt buckles. This is also a leather-loaded SEL model that features a power driver's seat, power-adjustable pedals, traction control, premium MACH Audio system w/console-mounted CD changer and electronic climate control. The seat bases in the rear of all other Taurus and Sable wagons are stationary so you have a bit of an angle going upwards to the front seats. The entire front end was replaced, subframe, body panels and all before he bought it. He was then rear ended and most of the back end was cut out and replaced with junked parts. This was about 165k. I bought it from him at around 205k. It still ran perfectly, a/c worked and raising 4 kids it was a steal. I carried tile, wood, rock, etc to remodel our house in it. \r\nAround 220k, hurricane Ian dropped a tree on it and did more damage to the suspension than the body. I bought a new car to replace it and we gave the Taurus wagon to my wife\u2019s best friend. She was a horrible driver. She had 4 major accidents and 2 minor ones and the Taurus still ran. She gave it to her son w 350 k on it. He drove it for at least a year but I have no idea what happened after that.
