The ramp made it easy to load the mowers in and out. One older guy I used to see was still using his around 1990-1991. I was thoroughly convinced that he was able to keep working so long (I'm guessing he was pushing 80) because he never had to lift the mower, or fumble with steep ramps into the back of a conventional pickup. That Greenbrier kept his career going, I'm pretty sure.\r\n\r\nWas the 4-speed an actual factory option, or a later update? I assumed those were mostly on the sporty Corvairs back when new. If not, I'm thinking the supply of them must have nearly dried up by now!
