And inside the cabin the stock steering wheel and original radio with dash-matched knobs and original carpets may also defy the aging process - just like Oil of Olay. \r\n\r\nThat said, there are some questions that have been asked about the body prior to paint. It would be good to see what lies beneath. That's not always possible, unfortunately.\r\n\r\nThis is a nice car - of that there is no question. And yes, as has been pointed out, the front seat upholstery has been replaced. The included Cosmic wheels (my favorites, too) wear 13\" tires, so the laws of physics dictate they are 13\" Cosmics and not 14\" as described. I'd purchase a trapezoidal mirror to keep things firmly planted in 1972, but sometimes safety dictates something a bit more practical/efficient.\r\n\r\nThe underside looks solid, but there's a crease in the floor pan that appears to have been massaged with a dent puller. These tools screw into the sheet metal and use a slap-hammer to straighten out the metal. Of course, these tools leave holes (that are hopefully filled). Not sure what paint was used on the underside of the spare tire well - or even why it was painted - but it was applied with a brush. \r\n\r\nThere are no images of the rocker panels or rear quarter fender arches and dogleg - known areas of rust - particularly on sunroof cars. Pictures can speak volumes. \r\n\r\nThe engine compartment needs detailing to be sure. Please lose those spacers on the strut towers - they're useless (and ugly). \r\n\r\nThe cracked steering wheel fairly begs for a 380mm Petri sport wheel. \r\n\r\nRegardless, this car is a well-documented and largely unmolested example. As the bidding sits today, it appears to be something of a bargain.
