Further we have had the vehicle serviced at a BMW dealership, who was going to list the vehicle for us before we decided to go on BaT, and they were absolutely confident in the mileage. \r\n\r\nFront fenders on the Z1 are prone to cracking. We started to see this start as hairline fissures on both sides so to ensure the new owner has a trouble free ownership experience, we repaired them. \r\n\r\nOur paint thickness gauge unfortunately will not pick up a reading on fiberglass panels however, we have a Glasurit certified facility with 6 senior paint and body technicians who gave this vehicle their seal of approval in terms of its originality and overall condition. They also used expert precision in correcting the fenders. I'll add to this, as I've owned a 1991 Z1 for the last 23 years and was one of the first to import one in the U.S. : Fit E30 M3 lower control arms, struts and five bolt hubs. Replace the rear trailing arms with E36 M3 arms. Install camber plates atop the front struts. Fit aluminum adjustable lower rear control arms. Fit the LSD from the MZ3, fit big brake kits front and rear. Fit 19\" Haman PG3. Thanks to the huge engine bay (it was rumored the engineers wanted to fit the V12....which actually fits, there are great engine install options. A nicely done one featured an M5 V8.
