I have a CJ2A and and military M38 from the Korean War era - fun to drive and even to take offroad, in their stock condition. Very capable.\r\nTwo little nits - it's a shame the photos with the windshield down was done with the two bungee cords. The correct footmen's loops are in place on the grill and the windscreen to hold it down with a 1\" wide web strap. Pull it down tight to avoid cracking the flat glass in the windscreen when it bounces.\r\nMore operational, the spare NDT tire is mounted on a later M151 Mutt rim. The Mutt has the same bolt pattern dimensions, but uses flanged bolts, rather than countersunk nuts on studs, like on the CJ2A. The wheel rim center offset is also very different. We also drive it 90% of the time with the windshield down flat, although the swing out windshield is a nice wind break with controllable airflow when its up. Wish they all had that today. We call ours the Therapy Jeep since it provides so much enjoyment on a hot day just for a drive after chores. It is also very useful as a farm type vehicle. It will do everything an ATV/UTV will do if you have the kidneys for it.
