On these old hand-shift bikes, the lever moves from 1N23 in a linear fashion and it's possible from go, say, from 1st to 3rd, bypassing 2nd, so long as the clutch is disengaged.\r\n\r\nAmazingly there are people that have stuff squirreled away for just the right bike (or car). The pix were taken inside the building at the AMCA meet. The odometer read \"10\" miles then, now 66 miles. The bike had a few chrome bits including the shift lever, front brake lever, handlebar switched and tool box lock. Those details were noted during the initial judging and shortly afterwards, were bead blasted, primered and refinished, correctly, in black.\r\n\r\nI also have the remainder of the Police Gray PPG paint and the black frame and trim paint. Just in case any touch-ups are needed in the future, you'll have the paint and the formulas to match, exactly.\r\n\r\nThe ignition switch is a new replacement from Jerry Greer's. The factory original switch (which you can see in the photo with odometer at 11 miles) and key are included with the bike. I messed with it for quite some time and could not make it reliable, so I opted for the replacement.\r\n\r\nOh, yeah. The guy sitting on the bike? That's me. I'm not included with the sale, though.
