If you search Google for the difference between Bilstein B6 and B8 shocks you will find they have similar characteristics but the B8 is a bit shorter and is specifically made for cars with lowering springs.\r\nMy impression on the camber issue is that a lot of the camber you see has been done to allow larger rims to be fitted without rubbing. I saw a listing for a collector model BMW on the East Coast. The photographs were gorgeous, the sunsets captured in full glory. I bid on the car and in the last few minutes (This was not BaT) I was interrupted by a work call and lost the car. A few weeks later I took my beloved 1985 M635Csi in for service and there in one of the service bays was the very car I had bid on in early stages of disassembly. I watched that car undergoing mechanical repairs for months, and during these repairs numerous rust problems were also revealed. Fortunately I never met the buyer but as I was friendly with the owners of the highly regarded service center, I had a good indication of the total repair bill.
