She is a very kind lady and asked me to offer her late husband's Volvo on Bringatrailer, as he was quite the automotive enthusiast, and this is the proper venue for his beautiful car.\r\n\r\nI knew him over the years here in CT as a fastidious collector of interesting cars, and he was an absolutely fantastic car guy, writer and enthusiast. He loved this car, and put a lot of effort and money into to ensure it was properly cared for.\r\n\r\nAs you can see by the insurance documents I have just added, and the photos of the very minimal damage (photos #241-247) it was not salvaged for a hard hit, and it made sense to buy it back and have it fixed properly. Keep in mind insurance companies don't always \"understand\" what is collectible vs. not, hence the low dollar salvage...\r\n\r\n@sycamoresig79 this is a vintage CT vehicle, and does not hold a title (vehicles over 20 years in CT are not given titles).\r\n\r\n@Pacmansr please read through the description of the auction, and look through the photos at all of the paperwork submitted here, it should answer almost all of your questions. The family purchased this Volvo in 2017 from the PO in Arizona, and have owned it until present.\r\n\r\n@BustedKnuckleGarage I'll have to see if there's a tag. They're neoprene and super comfy. I also thought the same when I first saw them.\r\n\r\n@Old_Ned I am not sure about the rear wiper blade position. The steel wheels are Volvo wheels, but from what car, I am also not sure.
