They made great ice racers as they had all the weight on the driving wheels, and the front drive was perfect for grabbing the snow banks, out cornering all the rear drivers. Only had to give a little push to the rear engine guys to head them into the snow banks. These FIATs also have great shock travel so they would roll through the ice ruts really well, keeping the tires fully contacted with the surface. An engine change is also really easy as I learned after trying to pull the engine out over the hood. You undo four bolts, several fluid and wire lines, and lift the body off the complete drive train. Also won an under 2.0 liter class hill climb in mine.
