This car needs some work! The floors do have some rust that needs to be addressed. We removed the interior to take photos of the bad spots; the interior has since been reinstalled. Note that both doors open and close as they should and they don't appear to be sagging, so we don't think the rust issues have caused any structural damage.\r\n\r\nIn the driving video, the ammeter shows discharge. We have since installed a rebuilt alternator and new voltage regulator and the charging system is now operable.\r\n\r\nThe car drives nice and the AC blows ice cold. The original transmission and power steering fluid for 1963 was Type A Suffix A. It is superseded by Dexron. Use Dexron III, not the synthetic Dexron VI. You can use power steering fluid or universal hydraulic oil in the power steering.\r\n\r\nAs for the rust, what is shown looks relatively minor for one of these cars. The frame rails, body mounts, and hog troughs look mostly intact. My biggest concern is that the base of the right A-pillar appears to be completely separated from the floor pan.
