I've been lurking on this site for quite a while so I know that transparency and responsiveness go a long way - so here we go!\r\n\r\nI bought this GX in the summer of '21 intending to do some camping / overlanding with it. However, I thought is was too nice to use it that way so it turned into our road trip vehicle taking us to my kids' activities up and down the east coast during the summer. It has never really been a daily driver. Now that one of my kids has his own vehicle, we no longer need this one so what better place to sell it than BAT.\r\n\r\nI've uploaded all the service records from my ownership and all the other service is in the Carfax - or on the Lexus Owners website. One of the reasons I chose this vehicle is the extensive, consistent service which gave me peace of mind. I have tried to continue that maintenance record. \r\n\r\nMaintenance I have taken care of in my ownership includes oil changes every 5K miles, brake fluid, transmission fluid, differential fluid, transfer case fluid and spark plugs. That said, there is some maintenance that was recommended that I did not take care of: valve cover gaskets, oil pan gasket and rear brake pads. Also, I believe the RR tire has a patch in it that the dealer recommended be replaced.\r\n\r\nRegarding the valve cover gaskets and oil pan gaskets: dealer told me they were just seaping - no drips. I can say I do not smell any oil and there are no drips on the floor of the garage where this lives. Plan was to do this maintenance if it ever got to that point where oil was visible or could be smelled. It has seemed like from time to time since I have owned it. I think the only time time I noticed it was if I was at a stop light - and I was thinking about it - the idle speed would drop a little. It never stalled or hesitated, cold or warm - just seemed to idle lower than I would expect. As you mention in the receipt, the Lexus dealership was unable to duplicate it. It's possible the complaint was just me being picky.\r\n\r\nThe tires were brand new when I bought the vehicle so they now have about 35K miles on them. In the tire inspection from 2/22/24 (picture 165) - about 6K miles ago - the tread depths on all tires were reported as 8/32. Pics 18, 19 and others show the current condition of the tires. When I manually turned the A/C on, the rpms dropped for just a second and returned to normal. It never runs rough or hesitates. The idle rpms never changed at any other time. The \"engine running\" and \"exhuast\" videos attached to the listing show how it idIes. I am going to try to get a driving video tomorrow as well as a cold start video and post them to the listing.\n\nRegarding the oil pan and valve cover gaskets - images are attached.\n\nRegarding the brakes, I did not see in any of the receipts nor did any service advisor tell me the brakes were critically low. I did see and I did mention in my first comments that they may need attention soon. There is no metal on metal, but I would consider the expense of rear pads when bidding. \n\nRegarding pulling, a local bidder who drove the truck said he thought the truck pulled to the right. I was looking for that condition in the drive I completed and did not see it or feel it when driving or braking. There are no concerns about rust as there can be on this truck type from other places with snowy winters.\n\n-The color gets many compliments (if you're into that sort of thing). I don't know production figures, but anecdotally I can say I can't recall seeing this color in the wild in my travels.\n\n-Mileage is a little lower than average for its age - about 9400 miles per year\n\n-The vehicle comes with a long, consistent and complete maintenance history including receipts from everything I have done since owning it.\n\n-This vehicle has a clean, accident and damage free Carfax report\n\n-This vehicle comes with subtle, reversible modifications.
