I addressed that by having both cars modified with Quicksilver exhaust systems. They sound amazing and apparently boost performance.\r\n\r\nIs it a little annoying that AM a year later released the new V8 Vantage with almost as much horsepower, similar styling, an arguably better interior, at a much lower price? Yes, but those cars don\u2019t have the V12 engine, which to me makes a big difference. I tend to like understated colors. To me, that fits with what I think of with the Aston brand, and something that tends to distinguish most Aston\u2019s from many other exotics. I did recently see a DB4 short chassis volante in Winchester blue, and it was a gorgeous car. The color was very similar to this. At the end of the day, it\u2019s all a matter of taste. But this particular car looks great with the blue and silver accents. I tend to go for black wheels but this car looks great the way it was done. I think it would look even better without the wing. Top Gear and some others said the same thing when these first came out. The wing is cool but the car actually looks better without it\u2014that\u2019s what they said and I agree. The wing was a free option. I asked Aston to leave it off the car but package it up and send to me so I could hang it in the garage like a sculpture.
