Back in 2010 I purchased a 1952 XK120 OTC \"completely disassembled\", even the ball bearings were out of the steering box. The chassis and suspension were powder coated and the body was on a stand like this car was. I am surprised that the owner did not have the car painted before putting in on the chassis. If I were the buyer, I would definitely remove the body off the chassis before having it painted. It's not that big of a job and and would make it so much easier to paint inside, underneath and outside. All the missing parts can be sourced but it will take time and money. Putting in a new wiring loom may seem daunting to the new buyer but I did my own and it is time consuming but not too hard to do since the loom will most likely have little tags showing where each connection goes. There will be several separate looms and you will need an XK140 Service Manual showing the car's electrical diagram to guide you. This car comes with \"good bones\" and will in my estimation require another 50-60K for missing parts, painting and upholstery work. Many parts can be obtained on eBay, Moss Motors, Bassett's, Guy Broad Jaguar Spares in the UK. Personally, I would restore the car back to its original paint and upholstery colors. With all the engine work, chassis powder coating and reassembly, I would value it somewhere between $50-$60K in its current condition and missing parts..
