Without overselling it, it's such a great car, biased opinion (because it's mine) or not.\n\nA little bit of history for the car. I had a 1964 1/2 Mustang convertible that I swapped (for a four door Jeep Wrangler) with a friend who had fallen and broken his knee. The convertible was a 302 with a five speed. A friend of a friend had told the owner of this Mustang (who was looking for a convertible) that it may be for sale. Long story short, he drove away in the convertible with a large pocket full of cash, and I was (happily) left with this Fastback. Casey (the second owner) is a professor here in LB and is very anal and fastidious in his approach to cars. He looked after this car extremely well, has taken it to many car shows and meets (it's won a bunch of trophies he won't give up - haha), and has even had Mike Brewer and Edd China from Wheeler Dealers drool over this Fastback! \n\nI'm more of a European car guy (being from Scotland originally) and am eagerly awaiting the arrival of a very nice Peugeot 205 GTI 1.9 and a Lancia Delta HF Turbo which are on their way from Spain. You need the clutch obviously, flywheel, manual tranny and bellhousing - and the appropriate crossmember. You then need the clutch pedal which (from memory) you can attach to the same pedal arrangement that came off your auto car. I cut down the brake pedal which is wider on the auto so it was the same size as the clutch pedal - and the new rubber fitted over it.\n\nMy clutch was a Modern Driveline one (which came with the tranny I got from them) and you fit a bracket the other side of the firewall to strengthen the mount and then run the cable through the engine bay down to the bellhousing and into the side of it. I used some heatproof silver wrap on teh cable as it ran very close to my exhaust and it got VERY hot down there. The T5 was a straight swap as regards lever position - the tunnel required no cutting at all - and you even get the gaiter and trim that lines up with the captive nuts which held the auto shifter trim.\n\nHope that helps - it was 7-8 years ago when I did it. Modern Driveline have everything you need for the swap if your pockets are deep (and you don't have to pay the daft shipping charges I had to).
