My wife and I flew down to LA and drove the car back along the coast, including a detour around the slide south of Big Sur. While the car needs some attention related to electrical, ac/heating and interior details, mechanically it is more than capable of blowing your socks off! It is definitely a car with two personalities - \u201cthe cool old bimmer below 3500 rpm\u201d and the \u201comg, hang on here we go! from 4000 to 8000 rpm\u201d. We put new tires on part way home because the car just loved to be driven fast. The dyno\u2019d 315hp, sound, fun factor, and acceleration more than impressed and I really like the way she looks. All this to say, with 400 ponies this black beauty would be very hard to leave in the barn!
