The car became the family's most legendary car as it was passed from Mom to Dad, then to my sister and finally to me. \nIt was repaired after a bad accident in 1967...at least 8 family members were in the car (2 front seat belts) when it was hit in the front by a big '50's Dodge Coronet on a country back road. No one was seriously hurt. \nIn the summer of 1970, my Dad and sister drove it from Maryland to Memphis when Dad was transferred there. I finally sold it for a couple hundred bucks with over 100k miles around 1975 to help pay for college.\nI love the Lincoln style grille and the funky ornaments on the front fenders.
