I'm really glad to see the car restored to stock specs and not modded to death. This car deserved that. I would say the seller did exactly what I had in mind but was probably able to save a lot of money in the process possibly doing work themselves.The interior looks wonderful ! PLEASE tell me where you got the hubcaps or where you had them restored !! What process was used to repair the cracked dash ? While I would have kept the cactus green and would rather see an OEM white headliner....I think the car looks wonderful. I applaud most of what's been done to this one, but there is something off with the tail light panel. The fit of the trunk lid (or lack thereof) and apparent misalignment of the tail lights makes me think a close-up inspection is warranted. There appears to be some sort of patches in the trunk floor on the driver's side too. Getting really picky, the shift stick appears to have been installed into the linkage backwards, as it should angle back toward the driver, not forward. The filler piece on the dash just above the steering column is missing. The cutout was for the column shift on the Borg Warner automatic and it the hole should be filled on stick shift cars. However, it's missing on almost every 510 anyway so no big deal. Overall a nice restoration and I salute the owner for finding and installing the pristine interior parts and exterior trim. When I saw it it had sat another year in Goldendale and was no longer running. I was drawn to the originality even though it needed much work...it was an excellent restoration candidate but the numbers just didn't crunch in my case. My plan was to restore it correctly to bone stock in the original color, that like many of you, I find very appealing now, I was going to lower it, source 5X13 Libre wheels and go with an L series SSS with 5 speed. Keep the interior original and as much originality elsewhere where possible. I can't really argue with the seller changing the color since it was done right by complete dismantle although I don't like to see the door latches painted.
