This grate was the low part of the neighborhood and drained to the canal. We had a freak rain storm one night and in the morning, the water was a bit past the door sill. The exhaust and seat were under water. I started the car up with the exhaust bubbling underwater and drove it onto the driveway. I removed the seats and carpet and aired the car out for a week (drove my mom's corvair to school). I put the car back together and it was fine. Now if the TR7 had all the fancy computers and too much electronics, i don't think my TR7 would have lived another day. I am not sure i would be too concerned with the title status, other than it should keep the price of this car low, which will make a great daily driver for someone to enjoy, rather than collect.
