I have carried out a most extensive servicing and thorough inspection of all components, I have no doubt that the indicated mileage could be correct and copies of smog tests will also be provided to the buyer.\n\nThe car runs and drives like new, tires are brand new, it has been polished and detailed to perfection, it needs absolutely nothing. On top of that I will offer flat rate shipping to any major East Coast US port @ EU1500 and for any major West Coast port EU2000, these rates are extremely low and they apply for containerized shipping into a dedicated, not shared, 20'' container. Very curious to see how high it will go, most reliable of all 110 setups, no BS check engine light, nothing really that goes wrong. The SU carbs are fairly easy to get serviced and yep I am just doing the gas tank on my 110v8 they go after about 30 years. Allow me to say that the SUs were rebuilt and perfectly tuned 60 miles ago, all suspension components, bushes etc have been inspected and renewed as necessary, the car starts instantly, keeps a perfect idle and always runs cool, it really feels like a very low mileage, well kept car. Also, it has never seen snow and I would safely guess, off road adventures all its life, these cars cost close to $100.000 back in their time where I live so they were really pampered. Even today, the annual road tax for such a car is close to $1500/year and due to the size of its engine (which is considered enormous for Greece), way too many other taxes do apply to this particular kind of car. Add to that the fact that gas in Greece is $2 PER LITRE not gallon, and you get the picture! Although I kind of liked the 109 I cannot warm up to this drive train over the diesel versions, especially the Isuzu diesel powered 110's. As any Land Rover owner knows the off road reliability of these revolve around the transmissions as parts are scarce and can be extremely expensive for repair and options for swapping are difficult. Land Rover moved heaven and earth to make a bullet proof transmission but all seemed to have a serious Achilles heal, even the vaunted LT 95. The build threads are plagued with transmission woes. So make sure the transmissions are in good nick. However, they are easily found, if the new owner decides to put them on.\r\n\r\nSome potential buyers asked me if I could paint the car all white for them that is the roof and the whell arches. I will gladly do so for the new owner and I will only charge EU500 for that, way below my actual costs. They are definitely different driving experiences but I really like the V8 in the 110. I ended up converting to a single edelbrock carb and the low end torque from the V8 is much appreciated. I had an LT77 5 speed in the 90 and have an LT95 4 speed in the 110. I can carry the same highway speeds in both due to gearing, but the 110 feels more stable at 65mph. I would highly recommend the older V8 110s as a year round usable collector vehicle. I'm sure the carbs are properly tuned and the engine runs well, so that's why I think it should pass the AZ emissions tests. I also know of a few 110 diesels as well as Series III and Series IIa that are registered in Arizona and pass emissions. The diesel engines, while held to exhaust opacity standards for the test, are much harder to get passed emissions. I find it rewarding to change gears, keep it in the torque band, and just scoot along. Drives plenty fine on the highway once up to speed.
