There are some obvious issues in the paint job done years ago. Wheel well bolts attaching the front fenders to the wheel wells are to be black phosphate and not painted, front valance bolt, fenders to firewall would be the same. The clips and bolts that hold the fenders to the wheel wells should also be black phosphate. The is evidence of overspray where the fenders mount to the firewall and the weatherstripping in doors also has evidence of overspray as does the weatherstrip around the roof channels. The bottom side of the car looks extremely clean and I do not see pitting on the frame. This car looks to be a car to drive without worries of chipping a high end paint job and is can be correctly restored later on if the buyer desires. The lack of the numbers matching and not being able to update that information will be a big impact on the final bid to a true Pontiac collector which is sad for such a rare part of Pontiac history.
