It was a true second generation Cord as he had bought the original ACD company, and while using \u201cspace-age\u201d materials and technology of the \u201860\u2019s, and after direct consultation with Gordon Buehrig, the original designer of the 1937 Cord 810, Glenn and his team build 97 second generation examples. They all used Corvair 140 or 180 flat six\u2019s pushed forward to keep the original\u2019s front wheel drive layout, still had hidden headlights, but we\u2019re 8/10 the size of the original.
