Even though I was very young I remember my Mom riding the chief one day, following my dad on the bitsa. They rode out where my Mom could try riding it the first time without any traffic. I remember that day eighty and some years ago because she took a spill and it really scared me. She just lost a little skin here and there. Dad picked the bike up and she had another go at it. She mastered it.
