I believe the following is true. \r\n1. The car is very sound. German master tech in Bend has been doing the work on the car and I have had them fix or repaired myself everything they found when they did and evaluation of the car. \r\n2. There is no rust on the car. It has been garaged since the day I purchased it. It has never been out on a rainy day. \r\n3. As far as bringing the car to the next level: To me that would be to upgrade the engine if you wanted more speed. It is very sound now but is really a Cruser. It's good to run on the highway between 55 and 70 MPH. It is perfect for in town and Curvey roads. \r\n4. The system in the car are all solid. Cooling system is very good. The Magna-flow exhaust is very good. The electrical system is above average as it now has a 40-amp alternator to power the electrical, which means no dim lights or lag on starting. The ignition Keyway was recently reworked. These parts are next to impossible to find. German Master Tech spent considerable time getting the cam, carbs, exhaust and engine tuned well and working together.\r\n5. The interior is all leather and basically new which stands above all other 2002's on the market. There are no cracks on the dash and the windows have all been tinted for hotter climates. Carpets are all new and it has coco mats over the black carpets. \r\n6. I do not believe the car is a \"numbers\" matching car. That is why it was personalized by BK to start with and I have maintained that. But it is as sound as any other 56 year old car can be and it is certainly a head turner. I get stopped to talk about it every time I take it out.
