Urals are made to go through anything rather than pass through quickly. I think 60-70 is comfortable but you have to have the bike set up and aligned properly. I went to a lot of trouble to make sure this one has been. Changing the tires can help as well. All that said, Urals are best used for country roads, in-city use, back country camping and such. Coupled with almost all wheel drive and they work quite well. You can get a large person in the side-car and you still have a cavern of a trunk or load up the sidecar with gear as well. My other bike is a 2016 BMW RnineT. As others have said, a sidecar rig handles nothing like a two wheeler (unless you take a right hand turn too fast and \u201cfly\u201d the sidecar!). Turning right is smooth, but you have to muscle it through a left hander. On a cambered country road, drift too far toward the shoulder and the sidecar wants to pull you off the road, so I hug the center line like I never do on the BMW. I\u2019ve never had my suspension tuned, but I never go above 60-65 on the road. It starts to feel like a rodeo mount at that speed. That said, it takes a few weeks to get the hang of it (and I put some weight in the sidecar for a while to discourage the sidecar lifting) and it\u2019s a blast. Sweet spot from 35 to 50 around town. Moving to Florida and will use it to ferry my wife and me to the beach, with room for beach chairs and a cooler and room to spare. It\u2019s also a little liberating to have a slower top speed and just go with the flow with traffic.
