I've got a project car that I'm building for a friend and fellow B guy and have a roadster and a GT. \r\nFrom what I can see, this is the car I see in a lot of local CL ads and club posting boards. It appears to be a good solid car that has been the hobby car of two or three guys over the last forty-some-odd years, and shows changes from stock, modifications and displays of style. I'd be willing to bet that 2/3 of the B's that are being driven are in comparable shape. \r\nThere is a lot to like on this car. Nothing has been changed that can't be changed back, and if a guy was looking for a car to drive for a couple of years and probably get his money out this car would be it. A good platform for a ground up restoration (yes, they do restore MGBGT\"s) or a good driver. It's nice to see a car like this on a national forum. \r\nBut,,,\r\nI'll never understand color changes. I know, its a flaw in my character. I should probably seek professional help. \r\nBut,,,\r\nIn my opinion, the value of this car is lowered significantly by having done a pretty good job of changing the color. Just when I was thinking, hmm they even painted the battery boxes, I saw the C pillers, and the big chip out of the hinge, and it jumped out \"Hey!!! this car is supposed to be blue\". \r\nFor me, it would be a deal breaker.
