I do remember the old tire factory off the 710 that had the fantastic gargoyles. I think they turned it into a mall in the 90's. The Burbank airport Lockheed factory was a cool place to visit. I used to fly from Whitman past the 4 stacks and see the planes coming out of the assembly hall on my way to Vegas and Palmdale when I still had my fork tailed doctor killer (Bonanza). I have also been up to the boneyard up their before they turned it over to private owners. Lockheed was a big loss for that area. Here in Denver we lost Gates rubber not too long ago. The head liner looks to be the original and I guess there may be some bleed through where the bows curve probably from 60 years of condensation.
