I would check the fenders for blending and front bumper panel to see if it has been repaired or replaced.\r\n\r\nAs for carfax, that system works by contracting with entities such as insurance companies, dealers, etc. by simply gaining access to their data base. Every time a vin# pops up Carfax simply pulls up all the information associated with it. If the damages were never reported to entities contracted with Carfax, chances are these damages will never appear on the report.
