I always felt they were nice looking cars and a tidy little package. This one looks pretty nice. I am not in love with the white seats either, but my MGB-GT had a black interior and, of course, no AC, if it was sunny and over 70 degrees or so the car was a sauna. So I get the seller's inclination to go with a cool, white interior. Still, I have used vynil dye in a spray can before, it covers well and is surprisingly durable, maybe a tan would look nice and still be cooler than heat sink black. One of my first cars was a '68 GT6. It came with wires, which did look good, but seems a bit old fashioned. But, the triumph wheel splines were shorter than the MG splines, or so I was told, and were more susceptible to wear. How do I know? I managed to strip one, front right, and so, and to not hear that horrible grinding noise, while on my way to getting a new spline, I took a right turn too fast, and thanks to that swing axel rear, spun into a curb, destroying the wheel and putting a bend into the frame. I did replace the wheel but started looking for new wheels. I had seen a Spitfire with these very cool American Racing aluminum wheels and really liked the way they looked. Unfortunately for the Spitfire owner, but fortunately for me, the owner tried to park the Spit under another car, thus destroying it, but not touching the wheels. The car wound up at Access Automotive where I quickly bought the wheels and mounted them on my dark blue GT6. I thought they looked very cool, but then again it was the late '70s.
