The drivers\u2019 side has the dual \u201cspoilers\u201d and only the OEM blades will easily \u201cup-ramp\u201d on the \u201cstops\u201d when parking to take the pressure off the rubbers. Keep the OEM blades and replace the rubbers only!\n\u2022\tHeavily blemished clock \u201cDisplay\u201d button.\n\u2022\tDrivers\u2019 seat belt is frayed.\n\u2022\tBattery corrosion on the cross member in front of the battery & probably corrosion under the battery.\n\u2022\tAfter market \u201cblue\u201d ignition wires (originals were \u201cred\u201d).\n\u2022\tRadiator drain plug cover is missing from the splash shield.\n\u2022\tMuffler is corroding/failing.\n\u2022\tIf the speakers are OEM, their foam surround has degraded with age and will have to be replaced.\n\u2022\tDo the rear window regulators function? They WILL fail due to age as the constant pull of the cable end in the plastic \u201cshuttle\u201d pulls out. I \u201crelax\u201d my rear window cables by dropping the windows a fraction after raising them. The \u201cshuttle\u201d can be repaired with fiberglass/epoxy & a bit of skill.\n\u2022\tTo keep the ALB modulator operable it needs to be occasionally \u201cexercised\u201d on a gravel or snowy surface to allow the valve seats to seal.\n\u2022\tThe automatic transmission is ROBUST (one of my coupes has 265K miles on it), BUT the oil MUST be changed every 30K miles to keep the 2 pairs of \u201cShift Solenoids\u201d, which are electro-magnetic, from attracting iron wear metal and seizing the valve pintle. If the transmission shifts are not \u201csolid\u201d, but delayed, the solenoids can be removed & cleaned. I pleaded and bugged them to do so (though we had no Acura dealerships close at all, over 2 hours from Chicago) but she loved her Accord. Any issues pointed out could be easily addressed with a little time and care. The leather wear is very fixable by any sort of upholstery repair person that could use existing leather or perhaps match on the bolster. The condition of the original floor mats is very impressive, along with the rest of the carpet. As is the condition of the black trim around the rear window, a tell tale area to detect if a car has been exposed to a lot of sun and not properly garaged. \n\nAlso very impressive to have the original window sticker and what appears to be a lot of the service records for the car from new. This car will provide someone with a lot of happy miles and is a great color combo. I have been able to essentially negate it by opening the housing at the mid-point coupling that's about 4 inches in front of the master-cylinder reservoir. After opening the housing the cable going to the speedometer can be pulled out, cleaned and re-lubricated. The other end leading to the transmission cannot be pulled out so I used a bit of WD-40 to \"loosen\" the aged grease.
