The motor is incredible, the sound sublime, the shifter the best in Lotus' history and the styling the best they've ever done. While these are heavier than the Elise/Exige the comfort is worth it: you don't want to live with an Elise (me, I'd rather have an ND). \r\n\r\nMy only criticism: the powerband is pretty thin. When it pushes, it pushes *hard*, but there just isn't a ton of area under the curve. This makes it a bit of a gear rower on track. If you care about those things, Komo-Tec sells some kits that improve the hp a negligible amount. What's more important: it widens the power band significantly.\r\n\r\nIt's hard to believe these motors were primarily made for the V6 Camry. What a rush.\r\n\r\nIf you don't think 400hp is enough power for you, you've fallen prey to the primary lie that automotive manufacturers have been pushing for decades. Perfectly acceptable as a long distance GT after taking it on a 3500 mile trip in ten days. Gas mileage as indicated on the sticker, and room enough for two people and their soft sided luggage. The Lotus dealer had told me at the time that there were not any more shipments coming in - the Evora GT builds were complete and no longer being made. At that point, I went on the hunt - nationwide. I was very torn between the classic Lotus green with yellow calipers and stitching and the nightfall blue with blue stitching - both very rare. You can see which way I went. The car is absolutely phenomenal. \r\n\r\nThere are so many youtube videos about the Evora GT - for those that do not know about this car, you should go get a good feeling about it (Matt with TheSmokingTire, savagegeese, Miami Miles (EVT vs GT4) ...so many more). I agree with all the comments. The Evora GT just finds a way to connect with the drivers emotions. I have settled with now knowing that Porsche has to cater to everyone. I think @StuM @Deanj225 mentioned something similar below.\r\n- The pictures detail the leather, which I would say is a 10 out of 10 condition with no issues or flaws.\r\n- The driver side mirror has micro-vibration. The passenger side is static with zero movement. I think much less than what maybe others have experienced, as a known issue.
