A '50 Studebaker sedan with suicide doors, I like that! The car looks pretty good for it's age, the interior looks nice and those bench seats are big and comfy. The dash is cool looking, I love Studebaker dash boards, looks like all is well except for the radio and that's an easy fix. I like the color too, grey and brown tones suite late '40s to mid '50s cars perfectly. The engines and transmissions in these cars are tough, just maintain them, that's all it takes. As for the exterior, it's YELLOW ! It's like 1967 competition yellow! I could live with it. I think that if I owned this car I would have a plan to eventually return it to it's stock blue. All in all it's a really nice example of a '50 Studebaker. It's got patina and it's got this cool color and an interior that looks very nice. It runs, it drives and it stops. Best thing is that it appears to be all there. Best of luck with the sale.\n\nDo not be afraid of owning an old Studebaker. They are the best supported orphan automobile manufacturer. There are used parts, NOS parts and reproduction parts available. There is a big support group, The Studebaker Drivers Club, and they put on quite a few meets every year. It was not chrome yellow, of course. Dad bought it for Mom and I survived many a trip to the market in the back seat of this car. Ours had the hill holder feature, which made it a lot easier to start up if you were facing up hill at an intersection. Interesting to note, my current Cadillac XTS4 has this same feature. Might be time for some new leafs. You can have the radio upgraded and have music and tunes with stock look. A lot of folks don't realize that the bullet noses are only 50 and 51. And they are different. In fact the 50's have a lot of one year only stuff, ask me how I know. They are great old cars from the past. Just keep in mind that while it can get up to speed OK, it still has 1950 brakes. So leave a little space. Up grades are easier on the 51's then the 50's. If I remember correctly, this year was the highest volume seller ever for Studebaker. Kinda of sad too as they did make a lot of great cars later on.
