The rear seat as is, works well for a set of golf clubs or children under the age of 2. I swapped my seat out for a Saumurai seat which sits back further and allows for rear leg room. There is a bracket that is sold to slide the OEM seat fore and aft for more legroom too. Can you get on the highway with these - yeah, but I don't recommend it. My 1990 w/ the F6A is happy around 50 - 55 mph max. I've had it on the freeway before but you are humming along in 5th gear. Not sure how the Auto is geared. \r\n\r\nGood thing is that lots of the body and interior parts are shared with the Suzuki Samurai. Parts for things like engine and transmission can be ordered out of Japan via Megazip.
