Do I think this car will be a headache to own in say 15 years out of warranty? Absolutely, but I won't own mine then so I don't care. It was funny the first time I turned it on and it starts in EV mode then you turn the knob on the right to fire up the engine but o my god that sound. I'm pretty known as the guy who trades in his car every few months here but I can't even trade this thing in unless it's for another variant maybe a roadster or SV. I have a urus performante for my wife and it feels like a Camry after getting out of this thing the road feel and exhaust once it opens up are absolutely insane. I don't see the sticker here but my guess is high 600's because mine is 734k and 45k of it is the upper and lower carbon options but I do not see the carbon around the engine hence my guess.\r\n\r\nYou cannot get one of these, I was on a wait list and mine would have come next year so I bought one on trade with 1k miles, well worth not waiting another year for mine, they're getting way less than expected like 1 per month at most dealers. I don't think this will suffer the same fate as the Sf90 because it has a naturally aspirated v12 for starters, yes there are electric motors but there is still a monster v12 and then I'm serious drive one and tell me its not 10x the car the aventador was. Look I get having classics for nostalgia but maybe its because I'm a trader for a living but I don't consider any car an investment, I don't care what car it is, nothing is an investment that will beat the market over time so if you want an investment by the S&P and if you want something that drives well for a reasonable price, yes I said reasonable price, this is the car. Is that a good or bad thing, I don't know but again I'm not interested in playing games to get cars like Ferrari or Porsche.\r\n\r\nAs for the car itself, I had an STO right before it, that was a phenomenal driver and the dual clutch in it was years better than what was in the aventador, even the SVJ which was double the price. This revuelto is the first time Lamborghini put a dual clutch in its flagship, the driving difference is night and day. Some will tell you the Aventador single disc clutch added character, I will say it was dated and not good. Again I love all the newest tech, I love improvements on cars. I'm not buying cars to make money, I think in my whole life the only car I ever made money on was my SLR you can see on my profile here and that just happened because it ended up being a rare spec. The reality is cars like this are toys for people who are looking to have fun. Will I lose money? Sure, but money isn't always the goal. This is truly the best driving machine you will encounter today. Will there be better stuff in the future? Sure. There is more money than ever in this world so they're making more of these rare machines than ever, values are not good but I'm a younger guy and when I first encountered my childhood dream cars the countach and diablo, I was left shaking my head at how I did not want to own either after driving them.
