Hope this one does well!\r\n\r\nSome random things to note...\r\n\r\n1. @bringatrailer the color is Nero Carbonio, not Nero Carbino. EDIT: I see Niteroi beat me to that one.\r\n\r\n2. The silver brightex fabric is lighter than it appears in the dark pictures and not as shiny as it appears in the bright pictures. It's very hard to photograph accurately.\r\n\r\n3. Options this car appears from the pictures to have been equipped with are red brake calipers, heated seats with drivers side memory, xenon headlights with headlight washers, and cruise control. Common options it does not appear to have are rear parking sensors, auditorium 200 sound system, and carbon fiber rear wing. Other common options that can't be discerned from the pics that the seller may want to comment on are a spare wheel/tire, 6 disc trunk mounted cd changer, and electrochromic rear view mirror.\r\n\r\n4. It appears from the service records that both door locks have been replaced. This is a fairly common point of failure and one less thing the next owner will have to worry about.\r\n\r\n5. Interesting that the evaporator, and not the heater core, was replaced. Leaky heater cores are very common on these cars, and very expensive to fix as they require the entire dash to be removed. Even if the evaporator was in need of replacement and the heater core was not, I'm surprised it wasn't done while they were in there as good insurance at a much lower cost than it would have been otherwise.\r\n\r\n6. These cars suffer from the same \"sticky button\" issue that Ferraris of this era are famous for. Appears it may have been addressed on this example, as the buttons that can be seen in close ups look good and one of the items in the service records said \"paint vents\" (the vents get sticky as well). I'm thinking that might have included the buttons in addition to the vents, but perhaps the seller could confirm. Seller may also want to comment on other potentially sticky items that can't be seen well enough in pics, like climate control knobs, steering column covers, and door handle cups.\r\n\r\nAnd one final thing... it also appears from the pictures that the front seats are full leather while the rear and rest of the interior is brightex. It was always my understanding that that wasn't an option - it was either full leather everywhere theres brightex, or all brightex. Seller, could you comment on this. Are the pictures just making the front seats look like leather when they're actually brightex?\r\n\r\nWhew, sorry for the long windedness. This is one of the common issues, where the ball joint covers are more plastic than rubber and crack after just a few years. After cracking, dust and dirt gets in the ball joints and quickly destroys them. To replace the upper and lower ball joints, the entire control arm needs to be replaced! So it's very wise to periodically inspect those covers! Luckily, the covers are available in the aftermarket. Be sure to have the proper tools, especially a collet-style stud remover, and the job really isn't too hard. The cambiocorsa gear box is hypnotic - once you get the hang of it you can really concentrate on driving fast and driving well - with both hands on the wheel. And the sound! Holy mother of god this thing sounds good. Straight up, with the stock exhaust, it is just plain bad-ass. The expensive bit is the clutch and related parts.
