It's actually not very noticeable, especially in the bright sun.\nIt would be an easy fix - I estimate a day to dissemble and paint, then let cure for at least a couple of days, wet sand and buff. Absolutely no rattle can used - what you may be seeing is simply a dirty undercarriage.\r\nBTW - Glacier White is a correct MGB color from a little later on (late '60s I believe). And the hardtop IS a factory hardtop but DID NOT come with the car when new. However, I've been told by some old BMC dealers that the tops were sometimes fitted at the dealer as a \"dealer installed option\". Just like original. I have the original leather seat covers that were used as patterns to make the new ones. Upholstery was hand made by a shop local to me.\r\n\r\n- RE a discoloration on the glovebox door. I honestly didn't notice this until it was pointed out to me. Pictures show a lot of detail not easily seen by the naked eye! Turned out to be a hand or forehead print, cleaned up easily.\r\n\r\n- The hardtop was painted with the exact same paint as the car. Yes, it has all new rubber and fits great.\r\n\r\n- Questions about the pusher fan. I added this after the first car show/parade I was in - 106 degrees and a slow drive was a challenge for ANY engine to stay cool. Since I drive (drove) this car a lot, I wanted to ensure it didn't over heat. I know it's ugly as sin, but it does a great job at keeping the engine cool in slow driving. Very easily removed.\r\n\r\n- I'm using one 12 volt battery in place of the two 6 volts, and used the other spot for spare parts / tool storage. I did convert to negative earth.\r\n\r\n- I always use Pertronix in place of points under the cap.
