Thanks for checking out my auction for this extremely nice Jaguar XJ6 Vanden Plas. As many of you know the 95-97 X300 cars are widely considered some of the best cars Jaguar ever built. Very reliable, well made and beautiful. \r\n\r\nThis example was purchased by a local owner right after its initial lease and stayed with them garaged and pampered that entire time until recently when it was purchased by the selling dealer, now retired from the car business. He had the already very nice car serviced with no expense spared by our local Jaguar independent shop. \r\n\r\nAfter downsizing his home and losing a garage bay, we are putting it up for sale. One annoying flaw on these cars is the illumination for the clock, radio and HVAC often go dim. Fixable but a pain. This car does not have the heated rear seats and appears to be missing the standard (in VDPs) lamb's wool floor mats. The one thing I didn\u2019t fix was the flaking of the chrome on the wheels. (Aluminum and chromium have very different expansion coefficients, and the wheels are a heat sink for the brakes. Bad combination.)
