I just had nearly $2000 worth of service work completed which included replacing the shift return spring (a known issue with this model) and a synthetic oil change. The Arrow pipes were nearly a $1400 upgrade and I credit the first owner with having the foresight to have those installed. They look and sound amazing. I am the second owner and the first owner did not save the stock exhaust (thankfully because I'd have been tempted to throw them away anyway). I think the cost was between $600 and $700. But I will gladly work with whichever shipper the winning bidder chooses. I've used them since 2008 when I had a Ducati ST4s shipped from Oregon to the midwest. Probably 20+ bikes over the years as buyer and seller. Yes shipping times vary. I've had bikes take 3-4 weeks and others take less than a week. All depends on time of year and their schedule. But as you mention, dedicated motorcycle shippers and know what they're doing. \r\n\r\nAs a cautionary tale, I sold an ultra low-mile, pristine 1983 Honda XL600R several years back on eBay. The buyer choose Uship. The driver who showed up was an older heavy set woman in a rusted out Dodge Caravan minivan. She had nothing to secure the bike, and said her method was to just lay the bike down in the cluttered back. I contacted the buyer and FaceTimed him her set up, saying I wasn't taking any responsibility for the condition the bike would arrive in. I said I'd be happy to hold if he wanted to find another shipper. He declined and had her take the bike. As much as it bothered me, I couldn't help load for fear she'd blame me for any damage after the fact. He never responded to my inquiries about how the bike arrived. As always, your mileage may vary. They are based in Butler Wisconsin which is less than 25 miles from my location so it made sense. I had not used them before but I had bikes delivered by them to me from clients, always professional and very well equipped trucks/ trailers designed to move motorcycles. My Guzzi arrived in a timely manner and in perfect condition, I picked it up at their terminal but only after a representative inspected the bike and documented it with pictures. Impressive. The V7 is the sister to the V7 Racer offered here, very similar but designed for different purposes. This bike will draw admiration and questions wherever it goes, the timeless design will be in vogue for eternity.
